Overview
The Associate, Talent plays an integral role in Human Resources operations, employee engagement, and talent development. This position requires a basic knowledge of employment laws, strong organizational skills, exceptional judgement, and the ability to manage multiple HR processes while fostering a positive workplace culture. They work in collaboration with Agency Operations, Resource Management and the broader Talent team to facilitate agency-wide initiatives and create a cohesive end-to-end employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Employee Experience & Engagement: Support programs and communications that enhance agency culture, including recognition initiatives, DEI efforts, and wellness activities. Administrate milestone rewards platform for streamlined and timely delivery.
- New Hire Support: Partner with Talent Acquisition in the onboarding of new hires, including but not limited to company orientation presentation and implementing ongoing updates and improvements to the on-boarding program. Ensure all new hire paperwork is completed compliantly and prepare employees to be fully set up for success starting day one.
- Performance & Development: Assist with performance review cycles, learning programs, and career development initiatives in partnership with Learning & Development team. Support execution of performance improvement initiatives as required.
- Employee Relations: Serve as trusted HR contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on benefits, policies, and accommodations. Act to resolve employee concerns, and support managers in handling sensitive issues with empathy and confidentiality. Demonstrate good judgment in choosing effective and efficient communication methods (e.g., team meetings, in-person visits, videoconference calls, e-mail). Consult with employment law partners and escalate issues to Talent lead as necessary.
- HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day administration and routine maintenance of assigned HR programs and policies. Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, such as employee data updates, leave of absence, performance management system changes, time & expenses and ad hoc reports. Own and update master status report of Talent initiatives.
- Agency Projects: Participate in assigned HR projects such as the internship program, including programming development, mentorship, skill-building sessions, and project coordination.
- Data & Insights: Prepare HR reports (including quarterly Corporate Social Responsibility reporting as required by Groupe) and support analysis of workforce trends to inform talent leadership and strategic decisions.
- Agency Events: Support office operations, budgets, and organization of company-wide activities such as town halls, volunteer events, and celebrations. Assist manager in preparation of materials for town halls and presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience, preferably within a professional services or creative agency environment.
- Strong understanding of HR practices and local/state/federal employment law.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a penchant for relationship development and building trust in a hybrid work environment.
- Demonstrated high-level of organization, with solid attention to detail and quality, and excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $65,415 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
