Overview
We are looking for a highly conceptual Creative Director that has a background in Art Direction. Must have strong leadership skills, an eye for design and an excellent strategic mind. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the latest design trends and will have the portfolio to prove it. Must be able to lead a creative team of art directors and copywriters to deliver fresh ideas that solve real marketing objectives.
Responsibilities will include concept generation, layout, revisions, direction distillation, presentation and production. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Agency experience is a must — direct and digital experience is preferred. Must be proficient in Adobe Suite.

Essential Job Functions:
- Collaborates with project teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects within Direct Marketing, Email and Digital channels
- Maintains stewardship of client’s look, tone and feel
- Prepares materials from client presentation through studio hand off
- Leads a team of art directors and copywriters to develop a range of ideas and designs that are on-brief and on-strategy
- Partners with account team to solve problems
- Maintains file management, using consistent naming conventions and procedures
- Loves the creative process
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skills
- Good sense of aesthetic, typography and practicing knowledge of information design and hands-on understanding of fundamental principles marketing
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard software/programs:
InDesign, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and Photoshop - Video and animation editing/direction including storyboarding
- A strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts
- Comfortable interacting with clients and internal staff
- Strong capacity for strategic thinking
- Understanding of digital technology, and how to use it to enhance the creative idea; alert to social, mobile and developing technologies
- Able to partner with team members to concept creative, on-strategy ideas
- Strong time-management skills
- Able to partner with account team to answer client needs and ensure on-strategy design
Required Experience
- Requires a minimum of 10-15 years of related experience
- Experience with creative agencies/professional services is preferred
- Direct Mail, digital and email experience is required
- The ability to provide a portfolio displaying work

Compensation Range: $81,225 - $116,655 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
