Overview
Saatchi & Saatchi Canada is seeking a Full Stack Developer for an innovative new AI initiative.
Full-time and freelance opportunities are available, with positions starting immediately.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications on cloud platforms with multi-cloud extensibility in mind.
- Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices using Java-based backend technologies.
- Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using React or similar modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate intelligent features and automation capabilities.
- Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and implement inclusive design patterns across all user-facing components.
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and agile ceremonies.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including UX designers, data engineers, and DevOps specialists.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Framework) for backend development.
- Hands-on experience with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with willingness to deepen expertise.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and familiarity with container orchestration concepts.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
- Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles.
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
