Overview
Publicis Digital Experience (PDX) is seeking a strategic Director of Marketing in New York City to help elevate our brand and agencies, engage our people, and support business growth. This role reports to the SVP, Marketing.
You’ll lead initiatives that amplify our industry presence, build brand equity with clients and prospects, foster employee belonging, draft and develop long- and shortform content, and deliver operational support across the PDX pillar. From content strategy and executive platforming to event execution and channel management, you’ll ensure our storytelling is compelling, consistent, and aligned to business priorities.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City office and will require onsite engagement an average of 3 days/week. All candidates should be commutable to that location and available to work in a hybrid capacity.
Responsibilities
- Content/Thought Leadership Strategy & Production
- Own the development and execution of PDX’s content program, creating strategic and timely materials that support business growth and brand elevation.
- Draft and curate long-form and agile content - including white papers, prospecting assets, analyst briefings, client engagement materials, and stage opportunities.
- Ensure messaging consistency and brand alignment across all external touchpoints, with a particular focus on content that arms our people, engages prospects, and reinforces our POV in the market.
- External Events Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute speaking engagements, sponsorships, and industry forums that elevate PDX’s brand and leadership visibility.
- Manage logistics, content development, and stakeholder communications.
- Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
- Partner with Talent, agency marcomms, and ELT to deliver communications that foster belonging, purpose, and transparency.
- Highlight key initiatives and leadership insights across internal platforms.
- Channel Management & Optimization
- Own and optimize internal and external channels (e.g., intranet, email, LinkedIn) to drive engagement and reinforce strategic narratives.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks to monitor engagement across channels.
- Analyze metrics and recommend optimizations to improve reach and impact.
- Research & Planning
- Conduct market and partner research to inform marcomms strategy, budgeting, and ROI tracking.
- Identify tools and platforms that enhance storytelling and performance measurement.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand strategy within an advertising agency, holding company, or consultancy
- Proven ability to develop and execute multi-channel marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, employee engagement, and business growth
- Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence
- Expertise in digital marketing services and solutions with some industry expertise in verticals including FinServ, Auto, Healthcare, Retail, Travel/Hospitality
- Expertise in content creation and storytelling across internal and external platforms, including social media, executive communications, and stage opportunities
- Experience managing logistics and deliverables for external partnerships, sponsorships, and speaking engagements
- Demonstrated success in internal communications, with a focus on employee experience, leadership visibility, and organizational alignment
- Skilled in channel management and optimization, including intranet, email, and social platforms (especially LinkedIn)
- Proficiency in digital, creative, and AI tools with an eye for improving efficiency and outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking, reporting, and ROI analysis across marketing channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences
- Highly collaborative, with a track record of partnering across cross-functional teams (e.g., Talent, BD, Client Services, ELT) to deliver integrated marketing solutions
- Strategic thinker with a bias for action, able to balance long-term vision with short-term execution
- Thrives in dynamic environments and brings a flexible, solutions-oriented mindset to evolving priorities and cross-functional collaboration
- A portfolio OR samples of relevant work will be required as a part of the application process.

Compensation Range: $119,510-188,025. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
