Overview
The VP, Digital Solutions is a leadership role responsible for shaping and steering both product vision and digital strategy and activation. Within these two pillars, you will drive innovation, operational excellence, and commercial growth across product development and digital campaign execution, ensuring alignment with agency and client objectives.
To be successful in this role, you have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, marketplace opportunities, and ad-tech ecosystem. You are also astute at managing large teams who support a collection of accounts across the Publicis Media portfolio of agencies, delivering RFP responses, campaign activation, billing and reconciliation, partner fulfillment and solution adoption.
In this role, you will work to manage product and solution lifecycles across sectors ranging from categories such as ad formats (e.g. video, audio, social) to marketing objectives or client categories. You will also focus on growing our programmatic and paid social offerings and will work to ensure the activation teams are fully supported, that APEX accounts are receiving exceptional customer service, and that the business goals for APEX and our clients are both being achieved.
Responsibilities
Foster Senior Stakeholder Partnerships: Build trusted relationships with PMX, Groupe Media Solutions, agency leadership and Investment teams to complement Publicis Groupe solutions and address team needs, ensuring our programmatic paid social solutions as essential to their success.
Build Operational Excellence & Scalability: Establish efficient processes, best practices, and measurement frameworks to ensure consistent campaign performance and scalable growth.
Lead Strategic Vision: Develop and execute the vision and strategy for programmatic and paid social, keeping our solutions industry-leading.
Drive Commercial Growth: Build new service offerings and business models that drive agency growth, including JBPs, cross channel packages, and custom content.
Cultivate Platform Relationships: Strengthen relationships with key partners (Google, Amazon, TTD, Meta, TikTok, etc.) to access the latest ad products and insights; engage with the marketplace to identify software that enhances campaign performance.
Build & Mentor a Winning Team: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing team of programmatic and paid social specialists as well as digital strategists, fostering continuous learning and collaboration.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with influencer, creative, and analytics teams to deliver integrated marketing strategies for maximum client impact.
Spearhead Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge.
Oversee Client Success: Ensure successful campaign execution and exceptional results, providing senior oversight and guidance, and actively managing partner escalations in this growing practice.
Partnerships and Solutions Growth: Engage with vendors to assess and evaluate capabilities, market landscape, and opportunities for differentiation, innovation, billings growth and operational efficiencies
Product Adoption: Track product and solution adoption in Salesforce to prioritize enablement, identify gaps, and align with Groupe imperatives.
Go-To-Market Strategy: Lead go-to-market efforts by working with Account Management, Groupe Media Solutions, Marketing, and agencies to simplify solutions and communicate client benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of digital advertising industry experience (preferably ad-tech or programmatic) with over 3+ years managing large and multifaceted teams
- Minimum of 3+ years working across a tech stack including data and measurement.
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in a relevant field of study)
- Systems & software proficiency (Salesforce, Prisma/MediaOcean, Powerpoint, Excel, GCM, market leading DSPs and buying platforms, automation tools, project management tools, data visualization tools, etc.)
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, presentation skills
