Overview
As a Producer, Color, will help drive sales for the division and maintain ongoing client relationships and is expected to oversee advertising Color projects from inception through completion. An ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with extreme attention to detail and the ability to motivate and manage a team of artists.
Responsibilities
- Manage the artists as needed in all areas of project management
- Schedule, bid, actualize, and invoice for Color Sessions
- Enter and track work orders, following up with artists and assists to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Liaise with Production Companies, Editorial for acquiring hard drives, footage, flats, as needed
- Make PO entries and revisions and upload final invoices in Altair
- Schedule both artists’ time/bookings for internal and external projects
- Track internal time and all direct and external expenses for the department, on a job-by-job basis
- Liaise with Marketing for Color only projects to ensure all credits are accurate and they have final Color spots for social posts
- Communicate with clients in a professional, clear and consistent basis keeping client services front of mind
- Predict possible scheduling conflicts and work with other Producers and EP to ensure the right artist is put forward for the correct project
- Effectively communicate with clients, artist, and EPs on a regular basis to ensure management of project deadlines and budget expectations
- Respond to client queries and requests in an efficient and timely manner
- Distribute information to Color team members, including media from color and graphic department
- Work closely with internal team members to ensure seamless client experience
- Liaise with client services to ensure expectations are met for all client-attended sessions
- Help create artists reels (with oversight from Color EP) and learn Wiredrive uploading for new work and creating reels from that program
- Integrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytelling
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience as Producer or equivalent role
- Advanced understanding of Color post production workflows
- People person who is comfortable interfacing with both clients and fellow staff
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail
- Consistent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passionate for the creative process and is enthusiastic to work with creatives and artists
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, ActualizeIt, LoadingDoc, Google Apps, Box, etc.
- Basic working knowledge of Adobe CC and post-production software
- Sales experience is a plus
LOCATION & COMMITMENTS
- Full-time role, currently hybrid status
- In-person/in-office minimum of 3 days per week
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
