Overview

The Human Resources Coordinator is an integral part of the Talent team. They act as first point of contact for general employee inquiries. The HR Coordinator is responsible for all facets of the onboarding process for new hires, general daily questions from employees and managers, maintaining data and systems, and supporting all other Talent programs and policies. In addition, the HR Associate will provide administrative and project management support to the Director of Talent Management and the Chief Talent Officer as needed.


Responsibilities

Provide Accurate and Timely Data Management of all Employee Records:

  • Process transfers, separations, promotions, hires, etc. in our HRIS System
  • Enter information accurately into HRIS and work with payroll to ensure all information received on time
  • Process tuition reimbursement and officer reimbursements
  • Audit HRIS transactions that are entered by payroll to ensure accuracy and proactively resolving any data errors

Create and Maintain Process Trackers/ Audits and Provide General and Custom HRIS Reports:

  • Run reports out of HRIS and proactively providing to appropriate internal teams (ie, Finance, HR, etc).
  • Track lateral transfers, severance agreements, intra-company mobility, letters of agreement, etc.
  • Send out separation information, onboarding communications, and transfer emails to employees

Manage Onboarding process and conduct orientation:

  • Partner with other members of HR team to present new hire orientation sessions
  • Collect and review for accuracy new hire paperwork and process I-9’s
  • Review all new hire background checks
  • Proactively update orientation materials as needed and make recommendations for changes/improvements to orientation process and programs
  • Serve as key contact for new hires for all onboarding inquiries

Maintain HR related postings and access to Agency Information Hub:

  • Post documents and updates to Agency Teams Channel
  • Add and remove employee access

Employee File Administration and Management:

  • Manage and Update Employee Files electronically
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HR data integrity efforts

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for general requests for employees across all offices; answer questions and direct employees to correct resources especially for new hires, and terms
  • Help plan and coordinate employee events, learning sessions, and engagement activities
  • Provide verbal/letterhead employment verification
  • Connect employees to benefits / payroll department for specific inquiries
  • Provide project management and administrative support, coordination and planning efforts for on-site activities
  • Serve as right hand resource to senior leads on HR team, as needed

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of relevant work experience, including internships in Human Resources or related areas
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; Advanced Excel desired, HR System (bonus if you’ve used an ATS or HRIS before)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate successful experience multi-tasking and prioritizing
  • Superior detail orientation and organizational skills and act with sense of urgency
  • Resourceful, able to work independently, and take initiative to anticipate and respond to employee/HR team needs
  • Navigate organization to find right solution and know when to raise issues to manager(s) for guidance
  • Customer service oriented and professional and positive representative for group and company

Compensation Range: $39,710 - $57,615. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
