Overview

We are looking for a person willing to learn, with strong communication skills, result and detail-oriented, and has a minimum of 2-3+ years of experience learning and managing different platforms in Ad Ops.

Need to work closely with senior members of the Ad Operations Team to successfully execute, manage, and report on digital campaigns. Should provide exceptional service to the clients. Advertising campaign setup, trafficking, management, and report generation are the core responsibilities of this position.

As a digital expert, you will be confident with internal and external client management and clear in delivering our TAAG (Technology and Activation Group) point of view and recommendations.

Individuals with prior experience in trafficking or any relevant expertise in managing and executing Advertiser Campaigns on Ad Server platforms like CM360, GAM360, etc. for several top accounts. One should have a good amount of Team mentoring expertise and exposure to client onboarding is a plus. Individuals hired for this role are expected to suggest and implement best practices when it comes to both basic and advanced knowledge of Ad Server trafficking and Conversion Tracking.

With troubleshooting expertise in Reported data discrepancies, Third-party tags, Creatives, and HTML Tags, one should have knowledge of Sizmek, Flashtalking and at least one of the verification vendors like IAS, MOAT, or Double verify. Knowledge of Tag Management Systems like GTM is a plus.


Responsibilities

Key Functional Responsibilities

  • Work directly with agencies in the US to implement and execute Digital Advertising campaigns.

  • Proactively identify campaigns behavior, reporting, and processes, escalate issues to peers with a recommendation and solutions. Strive continuously to improve QA methodologies. Manage data and audience strategy and communicate strategies/recommendations to strategy and planning teams and clients using a consultative approach, leverage data related to audience performance to assess, diagnose and prescribe campaign optimizations to exceed client expectations.

  • Support development of campaign KPIs and tagging strategy.

  • Liaison between internal media teams, external creative agencies, and advertising technology partners.

  • TAAG automation and enhancement projects

  • One should act as a strategic partner within account teams, providing consultation to clients on the correct setup of campaigns, tagging of client sites via TMS like GTM.

  • Monitor campaign delivery by post live check to ensure campaigns are running as expected and targeting objectives are met. This includes checking daily reports in CM & Sizmek.

  • Basic knowledge of debugger tools Fiddler, Tag Assistant, Charles, Firebug etc.

  • Responsible for trafficking the campaigns in ad serving platform as per the T-Sheet shared by onshore team and follow the process doc strictly.

  • Being a POC, make sure that all the onshore updates are shared with the internal team and establish a strong business relationship with the onshore partners.

  • Ability to investigate, analyze and solve problems as well as clearly communicate the results.

  • Working experience in platform like Flashtalking, Innovid.

Management Responsibilities

  • Create training programs to improve operational excellence.
  • Explain and teach ad-serving and DMP principles.
  • Lead the training program, mentoring and developing team members on technology and addressable concepts.
  • Involvement in all campaign related status calls and meetings.
  • Collaborate with any external creative agency partners to explain creative specifications as needed.
  • Provide consistent and accurate campaign trafficking and updating based on creative direction
  • Provide external partners with appropriate campaign tags for trafficking.
  • Troubleshoot any technical issues related to creative, ad serving, tagging, etc.
  • Assist Media Teams and Analysts with monitoring via various reporting deliverables where requested.
  • Assist with junior team members ‘growth through regular 1:1 meeting, identifying career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions, etc.
  • Process orientation and the ability to define and set up processes
  • Team management skills will be a plus.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience learning and managing different platforms in Ad Ops.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Media/Advertising or Communication, Business, Engineering, Commerce, Sciences or any relevant field.
  • Communication skills.
  • English level B2+ or above.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to learn on the job with a strong attention to detail and be able to quality check their work to ensure that mistakes are caught prior to setting campaigns.

  • High attention to detail, process driven and logical.

  • Proficient analytical with an aptitude to get up to speed on new technologies swiftly:

  • Vast experience and knowledge of digital ad operations and associated technology and partners

  • Understanding of digital media stacks and enterprise marketing technology solutions

  • Must have general knowledge of digital advertising space and must have a good command of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

  • Tagging experience is important (will have knowledge of and aptitude in conversion tags and tag management systems).

  • Experience in Advertising Operations with demonstrable knowledge of ad serving on DCM, Sizmek & Flashtalking, preferably having agency side experience.
