Overview
We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director to join our team. In this role you’ll lead and elevate creative across two large clients. This role is about bringing smart, conceptual thinking, best practice knowledge and strong visual standards to everyday creative work. Making sure our work consistently feel fresh, sharp, and on-brand.
You’ll lead a team of designers, copywriters, animators, design leads, while also working in partnership with client services, helping guide and improve the creative work and build relationships with clients. You’ll also play a lead role in presenting work to clients and helping ensure that what we deliver not only meets expectations but raises the bar.
This role will report into the Creative Director.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of Designers, ensuring a high volume of work is delivered at a consistent standard
- Develop Tier 2 and Tier 3 creative concepts for digital campaigns across social media, digital and web (leveraging design systems provided by client AOR agencies)
- Present creative concepts and campaigns to clients, effectively communicating the strategic rationale behind your work.
- Oversight and / or lead on multiple projects simultaneously and delivers on client expectations, meeting objectives consistently
- Oversee the production of animated content, including storyboarding, directing, and collaborating with animators to ensure high-quality output.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of work.
- Develop engaging social media content that aligns with clients' brand identities and marketing objectives.
- Manage a team of copywriters and designers to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution across multiple brands with unique tones of voice
- Stay current with industry trends, social and digital best practices, and emerging technologies like A.I. to continually bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table.
- Understand and ensure work is built to platform best practices across social and digital channels, staying up to date with platform changes (Meta, Google)
Qualifications
- Degree, diploma, or similar in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
- 8-10+ years minimum’ experience in a creative agency.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative projects, and conceptual thinking across various platforms.
- Expert level proficiency in design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
- Have an understanding of tools like ChatMidjourney, DALL·E, Runway, Veo, Kling, and others
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and solve complex design and marketing challenges.
- Ability to level up or down depending on the needs of the project
- Ability to oversee a large volume of work without getting too into the weeds yet being able to jump in if and when needed
