Overview

The Associate Traffic Manager works with creative, media, account team and traffic manager to help ensure all creative airs correctly, on time and according to client specifications. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills and attention to detail. The Associate Traffic Manager helps keep projects moving smoothly between creative, account management and production.


Responsibilities

  • Assists in the day-to-day scheduling and management of broadcast radio and linear TV projects
  • Daily contact with account team, media buying team and stations
  • Assists traffic manager with sending traffic instructions that tell stations which creative to air, when and for how long
  • With guidance from traffic manager, issues third party distribution vendor orders for commercial distribution, closed captioning and encoding to ensure deliverables meet the agency and client’s quality standards and adhere to client expectations and guidelines
  • Assists traffic managers with reconciling vendor billing to meet job closing deadlines
  • Help coordinate the delivery of creative assets to TV/Radio stations
  • Create client facing estimates based on number of creatives airing and media buy, manage AD-ID requests for new creative, help manage vendor invoice approvals and help ensure invoices are being received in a timely manner
  • Communicate with network clearance dept to ensure creative is not scheduled without clearance
  • Assist in reporting commercial activity to Business Affairs department in a timely manner if required
  • Explore and apply AI tools to enhance creative workflows, from generating fresh content ideas to streamlining production tasks, while staying curious about emerging technologies that shape the future of storytelling

Qualifications

  • Experience in traffic management or a similar role within an advertising, network or media agency, media software experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving capabilities

Compensation Range: $53,200 - $67,200 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
