Overview

The SEO Content Senior Associate is the key support resource for the SEO Content team. The Senior Associate assists the SEO Content team with tactical outputs like keyword research, meta data development, quality assurance, manuscript optimization, and implementation/results analysis. The goals for the role are to learn and apply basic organic search principles that support short- and long-term strategies for client’s online media campaigns.


Responsibilities

Knowledge

  • Knows how the agency works and how jobs flow through the agency
  • Understands basic mathematical concepts
  • Basic computer skills/programs including Excel
  • Has an understanding of digital marketing
  • Basic grasp of high level concepts of SEO
  • Solid writing skills

Internal: Operations and Tactics

  • Coordinate with manager to understand clients’ SEO goals and client deliverables
  • Provide progress reports to managers as needed
  • Execute SEO related tasks as directed by managers
  • Research keywords target audience utilized in search
  • Assist with SEO recommendations
  • Assist in reporting analysis
  • Helps support established strategy for department and brand teams
  • Expected to learn what drives strategic decisions and the thought process involved
  • Supports manager as needed
  • Diligently and flawlessly executes on assigned area of project

Client Relationship

  • Detailed, professional and timely communications to internal team
  • Ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing
  • Solid listening skills and takes notes during meetings, disseminates notes & follow-up as appropriate

Qualifications

  • Adherence to agency procedures (on-time and accurate timesheets, GDPs, 360 feedback)
  • Proficiency in computer skills used to manage day-to-day workflow (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to multi-task, manage one’s time, and demonstrate personal organization and ability to meet deadlines (strong work ethic)
  • Ability to take initial direction, then transition to a more independent work style.
  • Past writing experience preferred

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $70,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
