Overview

You will provide product management support, as well as technology strategy services to support complex digital projects we defined, designed, and developed. These projects range from marketing communication to data engineering to emerging technology. You’ll work in the Data & Platforms team to support product roadmaps for a set of features from inception through implementation on a range of highly dynamic and data-driven digital projects and initiatives within our client portfolio.


Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements through project goal discussions with clients, internal stakeholders and post review of associated data analysis, the client's digital ecosystem, and background research.
  • Present the materials in working sessions with Data & Platforms team members to complete the work.
  • For complex requirements, create process flow diagrams, sample data schemas, analysis plans & matrices, to facilitate understanding and agreement on the proposed solution and requirements.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Science and other stakeholders in the design phases providing accurate feedback to help align with the requirements.
  • Participate in client walkthroughs of requirements and/or live demonstrations of working functionality and capture feedback.
  • Conduct audience research and audience build requests from campaign planning teams to support paid media & owned media campaign activations in market.
  • Manage audience requests between the Data & Platforms team and the planning team, including setting up discussions with team members to clarify & finalize requirements.
  • Work with Data Science team to brainstorm the best approaches to creating the audience or audience analysis based on campaign plans
  • Review audience results with media planning team, and deliver selected audiences needed for campaign activations to platforms.
  • Following industry best practices for business analysis and technology
  • Stay abreast of emerging digital technologies and trends to support your analysis and client discussions.
  • Participate in providing improvements for the Digital Product Management and Technology practices
  • Perform technology strategy services (e.g., technology assessments and vendor evaluations)

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working on technology-based projects in a Digital/Technical Product Manager or other Product Manager role.
  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in Business, Analytics, or Technology related discipline preferred.
  • Experience working with databases, including leveraging table schemas and matching keys to pull data and reports. Intermediate to advanced ability to query data with SQL statements.
  • Intermediate to advanced data analytics skills and ability to build charts in Excel are required.
  • Project management training and/or experience. Experience using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) preferred.
  • Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum) training and/or experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Research & technical documentation skills particularly with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT, Visio (or like diagramming tool), and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Ability to frame a hypothesis, collect data and validate within required timeframes.
  • Familiarity with digital technology such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, email marketing, digital paid media (display, video, social, search), marketing automation, native apps, and programmatic media.
  • Experience managing basic automation projects.
  • A proactive approach to learning on the job as well as completing formal training to develop your skill set.
  • Experience working on large complex projects with multiple teams, timelines and dependencies preferred.
  • Experience working with remote teams in different time zones preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed preferred.

Compensation Range: $72,000 - $109,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
