Overview

Starcom and Publicis Constellation Group (PCG) are looking for a Media Operations Associate to join our Client Operations team to support a high-profile consumer electronics and technology brand!

In this role, you will support billing, processes, reporting, systems management, and other operational needs for our client delivery team. This position offers tremendous learning potential and provides the opportunity to be on the ground of a large, complex, high-energy, highly-visible account.

The ideal candidate is someone with prior advertising agency, media, or consultancy experience, advanced Excel capabilities, an analytical mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail.

PLEASE NOTE: This will be a hybrid role based out of our New York City office and will require onsite engagement an average of 3 days/week. Candidates must be local to the NYC metro and be willing to work in a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement.


Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing complex, large-scale monthly media billing, invoicing, and financial reporting and analysis as well as other operational tasks
  • Review and validate invoicing, investigating and resolve issues as needed
  • Project manage specific deliverables on a monthly or ad hoc basis
  • Pull and compile data on a recurring basis and as needed
  • Monitor and track media authorizations
  • Liaise with client and internal teams to resolve client billing issues

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of prior professional experience in client operations, finance, reporting, or data analysis, preferably in a advertising agency, media, or consultancy environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising, business administration, finance, or related field required; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience working alongside media investment and operations teams and an understanding of paid media delivery, processes, and best practices
  • Advanced Excel skills including reporting, data analysis, creating custom pivot tables, and performing V/H/XLookups
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn how to use proprietary client systems and tools
  • Experience working directly with clients to understand and resolve operational, reporting, and budget issues
  • Strong math skills and comfort working with numbers, budgets, and finances

Compensation Range: $49,305 - $65,665 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
