Overview

The Senior Vice President, reporting to the Executive Vice President, plays a key leadership role in driving the growth and development of the performance media practice. The SVP is responsible for overseeing both client success and the strategic evolution of the performance media department (Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic). This includes spearheading organizational initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, expand revenue opportunities, and improve team capabilities. Acting as a senior representative of the performance media division, the SVP plays a critical role in client relationships and industry presence, promoting the agency's expertise and thought leadership within the marketplace.


Responsibilities

  • Fiscal Accountability: Oversees financial management across client portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring accounts meet targets.
  • Cross-Department Coordination: Leads cross-functional collaboration with other departments to ensure integrated solutions, aligning strategies across teams to deliver cohesive and impactful results for clients
  • Strategy, Testing, & Innovation: Defines the go-to market performance strategy cross-channel to drive accelerated growth, how we implement a rigorous test & learn agenda to refine and enhance media, and how we stay abreast of the latest trends & advancements to maintain a competitive edge
  • Client Communication: Fosters strong relationships as primary point of contact and senior advisor to clients, providing strategic insights, addressing challenges, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, retain, and develop performance team, coaching VPs/Directors as senior leaders and contribute to succession planning
  • Business Growth: Identifies and capitalizes on growth opportunities to champions Publicis solutions for client initiatives where appropriate.
  • Cross-Channel Integration: Identifies opportunities for cross-channel synergies, collaborates with other marketing teams for cohesive consumer journeys and messaging
  • Demonstrates expertise in performance media strategy and leadership, positioning the agency as an industry innovator through high-impact initiatives, and regularly contributing to internal knowledge-sharing and external industry engagements
  • Leads the adoption and strategic integration of advanced technologies and platforms, ensuring the agency remains at the cutting edge of performance media practices
  • Articulates the agency’s full suite of services and solutions to senior clients, enhancing their confidence in the agency’s ability to deliver innovative and comprehensive results
  • Cultivates high-level, strategic relationships with top-tier client stakeholders, ensuring the agency is viewed as a long-term, indispensable business partner
  • Proactively leads initiatives to enhance client satisfaction, improving service delivery across teams and ensuring client needs are continuously met and exceeded
  • Oversees complex client escalations, resolving challenges and safeguarding long-term client partnerships
  • Holds accountability for teams delivering exceptional performance and financial outcomes across multiple client portfolios, ensuring that all initiatives exceed performance targets and drive sustained growth
  • Champions a high-performance culture within the department, consistently setting ambitious goals, driving accountability, and inspiring teams to exceed expectations
  • Ensures the implementation and refinement of standardized processes and best practices across the department, driving operational efficiency and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred but not required
  • 12+ years of account management experience in performance media; agency experience highly preferred
  • 8+ years of demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering innovation and collaboration
  • Work experience in Paid Search highly preferred
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale performance media campaigns
  • Expert understanding of channel landscape, buying platforms and new/evolving product offerings
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to lead organizational initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and represent the agency in the marketplace
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in driving revenue growth and managing budgets

Compensation Range: $200,000- $230,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
