At Epsilon, we do more than collect and store data. We help some of the world’s biggest brands discover real opportunities inside the data types, delimiters, and decimals. We are looking for a Associate Systems Administrator to join our Solutions Enablement team.
This role will primarily support installation and modification of TLS/SSL certificates, endpoint system software agents, with the goals of helping automate these processes and ensuring we have healthy systems. This person will work in collaboration with other team members to ensuring we maintain security and availability of services.
To be successful, candidates should have a basic understanding of Windows or Linux systems, follow prescriptive documented processes, and be eager to learn and develop new skills such as automation or advanced troubleshooting, and cloud services such as AWS, Google, or Azure.
What You’ll Achieve
- Create and issue TLS/SSL certificates to our internal business and technical teams.
- Help support and implement upgrade of endpoint agent software.
- Triage and troubleshoot software failures in systems.
- Document process runbooks.
- Retrieve reporting data and produce reports.
- Make recommendations & develop improvements in efficiency.
Who You Are
- What you’ll bring with you:
- At least one year of system administration experience in enterprise level Linux or Windows ecosystems.
- Basic understanding of how TLS/SSL certificates function.
- Prior exposure to environments that require an individual to follow documented processes and execute them accordingly.
- Good communication skills and engagements with peers or other leaders.
- Track record acting with integrity and being curious and flexible.
- Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed environment with multiple priorities
- Strategic problem solver that constantly challenges themselves and team members to improve
- Self-starter and results driven.
- Why you might stand out from other talent:
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Experience with AWS, Google, or Azure highly preferred.
- Certifications with any of the aforementioned technologies or subject matter is preferred.
