Overview
The Chief of Staff is both a highly strategic and operational role reporting to executive management at Spark Foundry/Connect. Serving as a true extension of the CEO’s leadership team, this individual will act as a trusted advisor and force multiplier, driving key initiatives, managing complex projects, and ensuring seamless operations. This is not an executive assistant role; rather, the Chief of Staff possesses strong business acumen and client-facing experience, enabling them to "carry the torch" for the CEO and make impactful decisions on their behalf. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Partner with the CEO and COO to develop and execute strategic priorities, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage town hall strategies, content development and on-site engagement
- Manage internal communication strategy and activation including cross agency communication, newsletters, etc.
- Cultural Events and Support Chief of Staff:
- Ensures culture strategies are in place including but not limited to events, gatherings and catering
- Event planning:
- Run point on overall Spark/Connect event strategy for offsites, client events and local cultural happenings
- Ensure high quality experiences and assets are used and represented at events
- Communication & Presentation:
- Act as a primary liaison between the CEO, COO and internal/external stakeholders, including senior leadership, global teams, clients, and functional departments, ensuring seamless communication flow.
- Develop high-impact presentations, speeches, talking points, and other materials for the CEO, showcasing strong creative content development and storytelling abilities.
- Confidently represent the CEO and COO in meetings and presentations, effectively communicating their vision and strategic direction.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in management consulting, strategy, or a similar role within the media or advertising industry.
- Proven experience working closely with senior executives, demonstrating sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the media landscape and key trends shaping the industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation Range: $241,000 - $325,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
