Overview
The Media Technology Director is responsible for evaluating and applying new technologies to develop media implementation and optimization strategies. Additionally, they oversee staffing and process development within the agency's department.
This a hybrid role requiring 3 days in office.
Responsibilities
Identify potential risks, problem solve, and create efficiencies
Expertise in MS Office Suite and project management
Advanced knowledge of all media categories
Intermediate familiarity with key market players
Ensure adherence to best practices for brands regarding researching, discussing, and analyzing new technology
Responsible for seamless implementation of new systems and processes
Relate consumer insights to technology usage (mobile apps, different types of targeting, non-standard media, etc.)
Foresee strategy and activation of selling and implementation (scope, staffing, etc.) through technology solution
Identify potential need for proprietary technology (also determine if it's an agency investment vs. paid by the client)
Identified as a leader in developing or overseeing clear, impactful strategies
Develop Media Technology team
Serve as a resource to Product Managers for technology vendors
Identify opportunities for process and team expansion
Share learnings across clients and teams
Foster a team environment focused on issue resolution and professionalism
Client Relationship
Own client and procurement relationships
Collaborate with clients to improve process and efficiencies
Advocate for adoption of new technologies and strategies
Proficient in presenting and leading large groups
Predict client expectations and opportunities for scope increase
Understanding of industry impacts (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA)
Knowledge of mar-tech and ad-tech stack for data privacy
Qualifications

Established experience in ad technology platforms - Google (CM360, DV360, SA360), DoubleVerify, IAS, Innovid, Prisma
Ability to interface with all staff levels across the agency and clients
Bachelor’s degree required
Previous people management required
6-7+ years’ experience in ad ops or media required

Compensation Range: $95,950- $137,865. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
