Overview
The Internal Communications Associate will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication and employee communication engagement strategies within Publicis Re:Sources Americas Function – reporting into the Global Communications team. This is a newly created position aimed at establishing a structured and strategic approach to internal communications (management of social networks, employee and talent programs, project stewardship, executive presentations). The role will work closely with the Managing Director, leadership team and Human Resources to ensure employees are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company’s goals, strategic projects/initiatives and culture.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement internal communications strategies to enhance employee engagement and alignment with company objectives.
• Partner with leadership to craft and deliver key messages, strategic initiatives, and cultural programs.
• Manage local internal communication channels (emails, newsletters, digital platforms, events, etc.) and external social networks to ensure effective and timely messaging.
• Design and produce communication materials, including presentations, infographics, newsletters, and videos.
• Act as a key advisor to leadership on best practices for internal communications.
• Ensure compliance with Publicis Groupe and Publicis Re:Sources branding guidelines.
• Measure and assess the impact of internal communication initiatives and optimize strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University, preferably in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or relevant discipline.
• Proven track record of 1-3 years of experience in communications or related role.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Strong proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• Experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Copywriting skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and engaging content for diverse employee audiences.
• Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of initiatives and create clear communications
• Design capabilities, including graphic design and video editing skills, with proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Canva, SharePoint pages, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Ability to work independently and build the communications function from the ground up.
• Excellent storytelling, content creation, and messaging skills tailored to diverse employee audiences.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
