Overview

We are seeking a Media Planning Manager to support a very large account at Starcom. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape media strategy for one of the world's leading retailers, leveraging a full-funnel, omnichannel approach that includes primarily traditional and some emerging media.

The ideal candidate is a media expert—someone with hands-on experience in media planning, stakeholder collaboration, and campaign execution, with a strong command of data analytics and insights to drive performance. You will play a key role in delivering effective media strategies and ensuring smooth execution in partnership with our internal teams and to our client.


Responsibilities

  • Media Planning & Execution: Develop and execute data-driven media plans across traditional channels (TV, Print, Radio, OOH) while integrating digital and emerging platforms.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with the client's marketing teams to understand business objectives and provide strategic media recommendations.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee end-to-end media planning, from briefing through execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Data & Insights: Leverage analytics, measurement tools, and performance insights to inform media planning decisions and optimize campaigns.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with internal teams across creative, analytics, and investment to deliver integrated, results-driven campaigns.
  • Performance & ROI Optimization: Monitor media performance, analyze key metrics, and recommend improvements for ongoing success.
  • Industry & Market Trends: Stay up to date on industry shifts, emerging technologies, and competitive insights to refine media strategies.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of media planning experience, with a strong focus on traditional media channels (TV, Print, Radio, OOH) with some understanding of digital integration.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with data insights, measurement tools, and media performance metrics. (i.e. Prisma, Vividata, Vivvex, Comscore)
  • Superior stakeholder management skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations effectively.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented team player, skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in an marketing/media/communications/advertising agency environment is required
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related years of experience
