Overview
The Media Planner is to be the day-to-day steward on media communication for an assigned brand, including budget control and flow of digital media activity. They will be required to develop and maintain a solid understanding of client business and apply online media understanding to help deliver against the client’s objectives. The Planner will work closely with the Supervisor in the development and communication of all media recommendations, and be responsible for management, oversight, and priority setting for Associates.
Responsibilities
- Strategically formulate digital media recommendations for the client including objectives, (target audience, geography, seasonality, weight levels, etc.) strategies and tactics Guides team on the development of strategic and tactical media plans and supports the buying team and process
- Uses tools to develop crucial communications plans based on execution strategy, rationale and buy structure to deliver on campaign goals
- Develop recommendations of the media strategies and deliver buy structures that encompass the best environments for the client’s target audience, while enhancing value and efficiency
- Contributes to the overall campaign strategy and strategies ways to improve and optimize campaign performance to meeting client goals
- Works closely with the leadership team to understand market dynamics (pricing, execution opportunities) and strengthen vendor relationships
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years experience in display advertising required
- Experience with various planning and campaign management/ad serving tools and technology (Nielsen, comScore, MRI, MediaTools, Campaign Manager)
- Experience analyzing data and market research and familiarity with basic accounting/math principles; basic statistical analysis experience is a plus
- Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects. Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last-minute changes
- Required PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Compensation Range: $59,850 - $78,800. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
