Overview

Leo Chicago is in search of a relentlessly curious Account Executive (AE) to support a big client within the pharmacy store category. This role will provide endless learning opportunities for an AE. This team does several large campaigns a year, managing multiple types of content. This AE will gain experience being a key supporting member in launching big ideas that come to life in several ways. This candidate will work with several cross-agency teams, getting exposure to media, retail and digital agencies that all come together to build and launch campaigns. The internal team is friendly, supportive, fair and helpful.


Responsibilities

Leading channel-specific creative, such as social and radio – from briefing to creative development to production – with close oversight from Account Supervisor.

Working with the media company to understand the media buys and accurately ship assets for launch.

Task master of account operations that keep the team running smoothly (updating status, managing invites, quality control of decks, file organization).

Be a steward of the brand and quality control of the creative by knowing latest brand guidelines/latest client creative preferences.

Speaking to junior-level clients on project updates/needs.

Ability to filter client feedback/direction in a clear, actionable manner to the creative team. Along with speaking up in internal meetings to ensure all feedback is addressed.

Competitive reports that get delivered to clients, along with general pulse on industry news to help the team stay current.

Routing creative through legal and helping the internal team understand and apply their feedback.


Qualifications

  • Ideally 2 years of agency side experience contributing to fully integrated campaign development and productions
  • Experience with managing content development (social, film, audio, etc)
  • Production management for social, audio, banners, and film
  • Tracking project progress and course-correcting as needed
  • Detail oriented and aptitude to connect dots
  • Team-oriented
  • Proactive
  • Great listener who asks questions to better understand each topic
  • Interest in advertising and desire to learn and grow
  • Organized
  • Thorough and thoughtful in how they complete tasks
  • Communicative with managers (managing up)
  • Flexibility in the face of changing client expectations

Compensation Range: $49,305- $65,415 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
