Overview

The Production Management Team is a vital part of delivering successful work at PXP Studios—serving as the central connection point between clients, agency partners, and internal teams. As a Producer you will be a trusted, respected, and critical player in managing creative and production workflows from brief through delivery. This role blends strategic oversight and hands-on execution, requiring exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills—as well as the ability to juggle multiple tasks with steady focus and confidence. You’ll ensure each project is set up for success from the start, driving clarity, alignment, and high-quality results across all creative and production phases.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional communications across the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure asset readiness and timely approvals across media channels
  • Maintain project documentation, including detailed trackers, briefs, pricing, and creative strategy materials
  • Track project financials: open jobs, monitor hours, reconcile budgets, and escalate scope issues as needed
  • Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality, strategically aligned work
  • Partner with finalization and post-production teams to support markup, routing, and file delivery

Production Oversight

  • Supervise production deliverables through art buying, production, post-production, and fulfillment
  • Manage scope of work, creative retouching, and color management throughout all phases
  • Oversee internal briefs and proofing rounds to ensure accuracy and creative integrity
  • Coordinate with external vendors to manage logistics, quality, and timely delivery
  • Execute workflows tailored to the client's needs across various media types
  • Collaborate with Resource Management to secure appropriate production support
  • Manage monthly job reconciliation and reporting

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in production or project management (creative agency experience preferred)
  • Understanding of creative retouching and color space (print and digital)
  • Knowledge of industry printing trends and technological advances.
  • Highly detailed with flexibility with doing what is required to deliver the highest quality of production work
  • Ability to assess production needs (by having a working knowledge of production fundamentals and craft expectations)
  • Knowledge of inter-departmental workflows and resources.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
  • Strong problem-solving ability. A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
  • Excellent collaboration skills with ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage a great deal of detailed information
  • Flexibility, willingness to shift gears to meet project deadlines and client deliverables
  • Highly proficient with MS Office software and Ability to navigate Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with high-volume versioning projects preferred.
  • Experience using Workfront, Smartsheet, and/or Airtable preferred.

Compensation Range: $79,990 - $114,975 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
