The Opportunity
The Principal Technical Program Manager for the Skills product line Program Management Office is responsible for driving outcomes for the most strategic programs within the Skills portfolio. You will lead the design and management of complex, technical programs from initiation through delivery. You will create alignment with cross-functional collaboration and communication across multiple product teams. In this highly visible role, you will lead programs throughout their lifecycle. You excel at leading teams and establishing relationships with stakeholders. You thrive in an environment with the freedom to lead while being held accountable for results.
In this role, you will help shape the strategy, framework and processes in which the Program Managers (PgMs) and Project Managers (PMs) operate across Pluralsight. Your leadership will encourage alignment, collaboration, accountability, and more predictable delivery of portfolio outcomes.

What You’ll Own:
Deliver outcomes for strategic initiatives for the Skills portfolio
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive sponsors and key leaders which enable alignment on program progress/needs.
Lead teams in defining scope, crafting and maintaining roadmaps and program plans based on business objectives, while maintaining existing program management artifacts
Lead effective operational, program and executive-level meetings
Integrate multiple inputs to maintain and communicate program information and health status (budget, scope, schedule, and quality)
Mitigate risks, resolve critical issues and escalations and monitor dependencies across the program(s).
Continually evaluate existing processes and drive improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness where applicable.
Serve as a PMO Subject Matter Expert through mentoring and leadership opportunities
Experience You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 8+ years of technical program/project management or similar applicable experience
Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks, with an emphasis on Agile
Hands-on experience with using, building and implementing adoption of various project management tools based on program needs (ex. Microsoft Excel, Atlassian - Jira/Confluence, SmartSheet, LeanKit, Google Workspace)
Experience leading successful complex, cross-functional teams while managing relationships with external partners in an agile and fast-paced environment with limited oversight
High emotional intelligence with excellent leadership and communication skills
Certifications preferred (e.g., CSM, PMP, SAFe, Six Sigma)
