Backed by leading global investors including Tiger Global, Sequoia Capital, Tanglin Ventures and Incubate Fund, we help companies care better for their employees by providing:</p><ul> <li>Comprehensive health benefits</li> <li>A fully-digital platform experience for HR teams &amp; admins</li> <li>Superior support &amp; claims experience.</li> </ul><p>Having found exceptional product/market fit, we’re in the midst of transitioning from 'start-up' to ‘scale-up’, and looking for frontend engineers in React to help us scale Plum.</p><p>Roles and Responsibilities:</p><ul> <li>Push things over the line, ship awesome features, and delight customers</li> <li>Spec, build, test, and deliver new features while improving the performance and quality of the product.</li> <li>Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use</li> <li>Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code Solve complex CSS, HTML, and User Interface compatibility issues across browsers.</li> <li>Implement front-end development workflows: build systems, dependency management, quality checkers (linting), etc.</li> </ul><p>Experience and Qualifications:</p><ul> <li>5+ years of hands-on experience building web applications with React or similar framework. </li> <li>Understanding of chakra is a plus, not mandatory. </li> <li>Comfortable with Responsive Web Development and with a strong product design sensibilities and has an obsessive attention to detail.</li> <li>Write testable, maintainable code that's easy to understand.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.</li> <li>Strong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaboration.</li> <li>Having experience with building and maintaining an open source project or design library is a plus. </li> </ul>
