As we continue to scale, we’re rethinking how our brands come to life and how video is created. We’re looking for a creative technologist to help us not just generate content, but build smarter, more AI-forward production systems bringing our product’s science-backed benefits to life via consumer-friendly visuals. This role sits at the intersection of traditional video production and generative AI as a member of our Creative Strategy team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do (AI Technology)

• Design and deploy AI-assisted prompt systems to support scalable video production across PetIQ’s brand portfolio using current and emerging workflows such as Sora (Open AI), Veo (Google), Runway (Gen-3)
• Translate creative and marketing briefs into promptable frameworks in close partnership with Brand, Marketing, and Social teams
• Rapidly visualize concepts using AI-assisted prototyping to support pitches, pre-production planning, and stakeholder alignment
• Build and maintain Prompt Playbooks that standardize AI usage, ensuring consistency, quality, and brand safety across models and users
• Evaluate, test, and implement emerging generative AI tools with a focus on production readiness, repeatability, and long-term value
• Automate portions of the production workflow to reduce manual effort and enable faster iteration without sacrificing quality

 

What You’ll Do (Traditional)

• Support small-team shoots, including camera operation, lighting, and audio
• Professionally assemble and finish content using Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
• Ensure AI-assisted outputs meet the same creative, technical, and brand standards as live-action footage

• Technically Versatile: You know your way around a DSLR  setup and a 3-point lighting kit.
• AI-Forward: You don’t just use AI; you’re the person in your friend group who’s always showing off the latest model update.
• Ethically Grounded: You understand the nuances of AI rights and brand safety.
• Local: You are either in the Boise/Eagle area or ready to relocate to enjoy the Idaho lifestyle.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience using generative AI tools to assist with visual, video, or creative production.
• 1–3 years of experience in video production, content creation, or a related creative field
• Familiarity with ethical considerations related to AI-generated content, including usage rights and brand safety
• Working knowledge of DSLR or mirrorless cameras, basic lighting setups, and on-set production workflows
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
• Ability to work on-site in Eagle, ID (or willingness to relocate)

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in video production, digital media, or a related field

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience prompting for and creating content with Sora (Open AI), Veo (Google), Runway (Gen-3)
• Familiarity with video production concepts (framing, lighting, motion, pacing—even if AI-generated)
• Background in digital production, or creative technology
• Experience working in a high-volume, multi-brand environment
• Strong point of view on where AI adds value

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
