The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $123,552.00 to $154,440.00. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Position Summary

The Manager, FP&A will play a critical role in Pernod Ricard’s Finance team by leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for Pernod Ricard USA. This role will drive the monthly reforecast and annual budgeting processes, provide insights on P&L performance, and deliver executive-level reporting to senior leadership and global stakeholders. In addition, the Manager will partner closely with Operations and Supply Chain to align financial and operational plans, optimize inventory and logistics costs, and support strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible, collaborative role that requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence across functions.

Major Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Lead the financial budgeting/reforecast process, ensuring accuracy, governance, and alignment with organizational goals from net sales through Net Income.
  • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis process, delivering insights that highlight P&L performance and guide strategic decision-making.
  • Develop executive-level presentations for leadership and HQ, including reforecast updates and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Oversee technical forecast submissions in Hyperion and related systems, ensuring data integrity and timeliness.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to align the S&OP cycle with financial planning and improve key KPIs.
  • Monitor inventory and logistics costs, highlighting risks and opportunities to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close for distribution and handling costs.
  • Track quarterly topline landing to ensure revenue targets are met.

Nature & Scope

This position reports to the Senior Manager, FP&A and offers high visibility across Pernod Ricard USA and the North America region. The Manager will work closely with senior leadership, portfolio finance teams, and cross-functional partners including Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial, making this a highly collaborative and influential role.

As a key driver of financial planning, reforecasting, and analysis, this role provides insights and guidance that shape business decisions at both the local and regional level. The Manager will play an active role in delivering accurate forecasts, developing executive-level presentations, and influencing strategy through clear, data-driven storytelling.

Key requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification (MBA, CPA, CFA) a plus.

Experience / Background

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial planning, or forecasting (experience in operations finance and/or reporting a plus).
  • Exceptional financial acumen and deep understanding of financial statements.
  • Proven track record of partnering cross-functionally and acting as a strategic finance business partner.
  • Strong commercial and analytical background with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with financial systems and tools (Oracle/JDE, Hyperion, Tagitek, or similar) preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills with comfort building models and performing scenario analysis.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and present to senior leadership.
  • Effective project manager, able to balance multiple priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

Travel

  • Limited; role is office-based in New York City.
