Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Software Engineer in New York, NY:
Job Duties: Ensure the smooth functioning of our high traffic core API for subscriptions (written in Python). Determine the root cause of low-level system issues, deliver new features and support promotions, build and deploy scalable code that is maintainable, scalable and is in-line with industry standards for performance. Collaborate with members of other teams to gain clarity, triage issues, and drive their resolution through cross-functional initiatives. Work on splitting the monolithic core API into a more distributed system, being part of this team will lend you the opportunity to participate in the execution of this strategic project. Coordinate technical projects across teams within Peloton. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Peloton office in New York, NY.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) SQL; (3) Git; (4) CI/CD; (5) Experience with containerized applications (Docker/Jenkins); (6) AWS; (7) DynamoDB; (8) Typescript; (9) Frontend experience; (10) Scrum; (11) Experience triaging low-level system issues from an on-call environment; (12) Jira; (13) Test-Driven Development (unit testing); (14) E2E testing experience; (15) Data Structures; (16) SDLC. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from Peloton office in New York, NY.
Salary: $181,900.16 - $182,506.00 per annum.
