What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant – Payroll to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of payroll accounting, tax legislation, and financial reporting requirements, combined with a proactive mindset and excellent collaboration skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Record and verify salary-related costs by cost centers and projects
- Prepare and review payroll statements and related analyses
- Complete and submit tax and statutory declarations accurately and on time
- Perform monthly checks of taxes, contributions, and net salary calculations
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance
- Contribute to process improvements and support digital/ERP updates
What You Need to Know/Have
- Solid experience in payroll accounting and statutory reporting
- Strong knowledge of Romanian tax legislation, social contributions, and payroll-related obligations
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (Charisma or similar is a plus)
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deadlines
- Attention to detail, accountability, and strong organizational skills
