Job Description

Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence platform (FDI) is the next generation of Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse built for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, bringing together business data, ready-to-use analytics, and prebuilt AI and machine learning (ML) models to deliver deeper insights and accelerate the decision-making process into actionable results.

The backbone of FDI is the lights-out data pipeline that manages the data warehouse for all the customers.

This position is for a Technical Portfolio Manager in the FDI Data Pipeline development organization. The ideal candidate will be the primary person to be able to best communicate and coordinate with multiple senior stakeholders within/outside the Pipeline organization to take forward a feature/idea from an abstract stage to the creation of quality technical visual documents, to guide/support development teams during feature development, and also to socialize the feature with the broader teams post-delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize initial directions on a feature from the Senior leadership into well-documented technical descriptions. These description documents should be easy-to-understand and accessible to each team to ensure an aligned execution across all teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager (PM), to continue to always maintain focus on the overarching product vision, thereby reducing the need for interactions with multiple Data Pipeline development team leads.
  • After the feature is delivered, collaborate with the PM and Data Pipeline development leads to distill technical details of the feature into easily understandable information, to build confidence in the broader team.
  • Develop technical stories for new innovative ideas to align senior leadership and the development teams on implementation strategies.

US: Hiring Range: from $114,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Required Skills

12+ years of experience in the relevant fields BS/MS in engineering and MBA from top-tier University Demonstrated experience in collaboration in a complex software development environment Excellent communication skills with strong ability to convert and document abstract concepts into understandable visual stories and to effectively present the same Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills Must have ability to think creatively and find innovate solutions to complex problems Must possess analytical/problem solving skills
