The Oracle Health Blood Bank product team enables safe, compliant, and efficient transfusion workflows within the Oracle Health EHR. We deliver integrated, user-centered capabilities that support blood bank operations including test resulting, compatibility testing, blood product selection, inventory visibility, product issuance and returns, transfusion reaction workups, and end-to-end traceability, with patient safety and usability as top priorities.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead Blood Bank feature development and modernization. The ideal candidate is a certified Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist with hands-on Blood Bank experience who can translate real-world transfusion service workflows into clear product requirements and delivered outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years of experience in product/service/project/program management, product design, or related field
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Healthcare, or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working with or within EHR systems (e.g., Oracle Cerner Millennium, Epic, Meditech) and/or laboratory/blood bank information systems (e.g. Wellsky, SCC Soft, Sunquest)
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards and integration patterns relevant to transfusion workflows (e.g., HL7, FHIR; orders/results; product issue/return events; transfusion documentation)
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance expectations for healthcare IT and transfusion workflows (audit trails, traceability, privacy/security, data retention)
Required Clinical / Domain Background
- Certified Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLS) required (ASCP or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience working in a hospital Blood Bank/Transfusion Service required
- Working knowledge of transfusion safety and high-risk workflow controls (specimen integrity, compatibility testing, issue/return, positive patient identification dependencies, auditability, and downtime workflows)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering software products in regulated healthcare domains (EHR, LIS, Blood Bank, or adjacent laboratory workflows)
- Customer interaction (workflow discovery, requirements validation, UAT/early adopter support)
- Demonstrated product lifecycle execution from discovery through delivery and adoption (prioritization, requirements, development, release, measurement)
- Blood bank related credentials strongly preferred (e.g., SBB), in addition to MT/MLS

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $74,700 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Blood Bank Product Ownership
- Lead roadmap planning and prioritization for Blood Bank features, balancing customer impact, patient safety, quality, and delivery capacity
- Own discovery and requirements for Blood Bank workflows including compatibility testing and resulting, blood product selection, inventory visibility, product issuance/returns, transfusion reaction workups, and traceability reporting
- Write PRDs and detailed requirements (functional and non-functional), define user stories and acceptance criteria, and drive alignment across engineering, UX/UI, clinical informatics, and support teams
- Identify and mitigate patient safety and operational risks; ensure workflows are auditable, reliable, and support downtime and exception handling requirements
- Use metrics (SRs, defects, adoption, customer feedback) to drive continuous improvement and measurable outcomes
Cross-Functional Leadership and Release Readiness
- Lead cross-functional delivery with engineering and UX using Agile practices; facilitate tradeoff decisions and manage stakeholder alignment
- Coordinate with product marketing, sales, implementation, and support to ensure release readiness, internal enablement, and effective customer communication
- Support early adopters, gather post-release feedback, and track adoption and satisfaction outcomes to inform iteration and roadmap updates
