This role blends deep hands-on engineering with executive-level technical advisory.

You will be expected to operate independently, exercise strong judgement, and take ownership of customer outcomes.

Required Experience

We are looking for senior, proven practitioners with:

8–15+ years experience in enterprise database engineering or architecture
Deep expertise in Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL; performance tuning; HA concepts)
Experience with MongoDB or other document databases
Proven experience migrating workloads between database platforms
Strong experience migrating to cloud (OCI preferred; AWS, Azure or GCP valuable)
Linux proficiency
Scripting ability (Python, Bash or JavaScript)
Strong understanding of JSON-based architectures and API-driven systems
3+ years in a customer-facing role (consulting, architecture, pre-sales, field engineering)

Highly Desirable

Experience with Oracle Autonomous Database
Experience with Oracle APEX or low-code application development
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery architectures
Familiarity with Snowflake or PostgreSQL
Exposure to AI/ML integration with database platforms
Experience in large-scale production modernisation programmes

CA: Hiring Range in CAD from: $90,300 to $140,300 per annum.
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $82,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
