As Senior Director of Operations, you own day-to-day execution, uptime, safety, and site performance across OCI data centers. This role is the ultimate accountable owner for operational outcomes. Responsible for very large or complex data center sites across multiple regions or countries and defines the group wide strategy for performance monitoring, aligning KPIs and objectives to drive global efficiency, uptime, and customer satisfaction. Oversees capacity evaluations for physical, power, cooling, and security needs to ensure readiness and operational excellence, and partners with executive leadership on long-term operational and financial targets. Drives the adoption of automation and predictive analytics, establish crisis management and process improvement standards, and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and compliance. Leads major expansion initiatives, serves as the senior executive liaison across regions, develops partnerships, and manages the full lifecycle of hardware assets, overseeing installations, maintenance, and procurement, approving large investments, and directing audits to optimize efficiency, security, and scalability.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Key Responsibilities
Data Center Site Portfolio Management:
-Responsibility for very large or complex sites or responsibility for multiple regions/countries.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
-Defines the enterprise strategy for performance monitoring for all data centers in group, aligning KPIs and organizational objectives to drive efficiency, uptime, and customer satisfaction at a global scale.
-Oversees the evaluation of physical, power, cooling, and security capacity, ensuring future-readiness and sustained operational excellence.
-Partners with executive leadership to set and achieve multi-year operational and financial targets for the group.
Issue Management and Automation:
-Drives the adoption of automation and predictive analytics for regional/country technical issues, ensuring high availability and rapid remediation of service-impacting events.
-Establishes and governs standards for escalation, crisis management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement.
-Champions a culture of knowledge sharing, ensuring best practices and lessons learned are disseminated regionally.
-Leads post-incident review panels and process reform to ensure resilience and regulatory compliance.
Data Center Expansion Support:
-Leads expansion initiatives including new region builds, site launches, and transformation programs; ensures delivery on time, budget, and to quality standards.
-Serves as the primary senior executive liaison with cross-regional portfolio leaders, engineering, and project management teams.
-Establishes partnerships (internal and external) to maximize resources, develop talent pipelines, and promote Oracle’s reputation for world-class data center operations.
Installation and Maintenance:
-Oversees and integrates all facets of installation, maintenance, logistics, and inventory management across several regionally dispersed or complex data center portfolios.
-Defines and enforces enterprise standards, setting expectations for efficiency, security, and scalability in procurement and lifecycle management of all hardware assets.
-Approves and manages multi-million dollar investments in upgrades, capacity expansion, and critical infrastructure improvements.
-Directs operational audits and risk assessments to optimize deployment and maintenance strategies.
