The Senior RCM Strategist engages with customers at an executive level to understand operational realities, emerging needs, and market dynamics, translating those insights into clear input for product roadmap planning. In parallel, the role owns the development of executive-ready strategy artifacts, including whitepapers, market and competitive analyses, and investment framing that help guide Oracle Health’s long-term RCM strategy. Success in this role requires deep domain expertise in revenue cycle operations, strong strategic judgment, and the ability to connect customer insight, product direction, and business strategy into a cohesive point of view.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Operational Expertise: Minimum 10 years’ leadership experience in revenue cycle management roles (hospital, health system, or large IDN), working across the full spectrum of financial operations.
- Operational & Technology Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Oracle Health (Cerner) RCM solutions (RevElate, Patient Accounting, Millennium) or equivalent enterprise RCM platforms.
- Product & Roadmap Collaboration: Experience partnering with product or engineering teams to inform roadmap direction, prioritize initiatives, and align strategy with feasible product evolution.
- Executive Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with executive audiences, including writing executive-ready documents, leading strategic discussions, and synthesizing diverse viewpoints into clear recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Strong collaboration and influence skills, with experience working across strategy, product, sales, and customer-facing teams in complex, matrixed organizations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience with RCM platform modernization, vendor consolidation, or large-scale technology transitions, either from a health system, vendor, or advisory perspective.
- Professional certification such as HFMA Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) or equivalent credential demonstrating deep RCM expertise.
- Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Health Informatics, or a related field (MBA, MHA, or equivalent preferred).
- Familiarity with payer-provider collaboration models, regulatory drivers, and value-based payment structures impacting revenue cycle strategy.
- Experience contributing to executive forums, customer collaboratives, or strategic advisory initiatives that inform product direction or long-term business strategy.

The Senior Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Strategist is a senior member of Oracle Health’s Business Strategy & Customer Engagement team, focused on shaping the strategic direction of Oracle’s RCM portfolio. This role serves as a trusted advisor to health system executives, a close partner to Product leadership, and a forward-looking strategist responsible for identifying growth opportunities and informing roadmap priorities across the revenue cycle.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Advisory & Market Insight: Engage with health system executives and key stakeholders as a trusted RCM advisor, participating in customer discussions, collaboratives, demos, and strategic forums to understand operational realities, emerging needs, and adoption barriers across the revenue cycle.
- Product Roadmap Partnership: Partner closely with Oracle Health Product leadership to translate customer insights, market signals, and regulatory drivers into clear input for near- and mid-term RCM roadmap planning, ensuring product priorities align with real-world workflows and business impact.
- RCM Strategy & Thought Leadership: Own the development of executive-ready strategy artifacts, including whitepapers, point-of-view documents, and strategic briefs that articulate where the RCM market is headed and how Oracle Health should position its portfolio to capture future opportunities.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market analysis, competitive intelligence, and opportunity sizing to inform investment decisions, growth strategies, and differentiation across Oracle Health’s RCM offerings.
- Executive Communication & Alignment: Synthesize complex operational, product, and market inputs into clear, concise narratives for executive audiences, supporting leadership decision-making around strategy, roadmap direction, and investment priorities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across Strategy, Product, Sales, and Customer teams to ensure alignment between RCM strategy, customer engagement, and product direction, serving as a connective tissue between market insight and internal execution.
