Role Summary

The Strategic Business Development Lead – Executive Narratives & Shared Services is a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping the strategic narrative behind transformational deals, complex growth initiatives, and partnerships representing Oracle Health and the One Oracle solution portfolio. This role operates at the intersection of business development, storytelling, and executive communications, translating sophisticated clinical, research, technical, commercial, and operational concepts into compelling narratives that drive alignment, sponsorship, and deal momentum.

This role will partner closely with sales executives, business development leaders, product teams, and partners to storyboard strategic opportunities, articulate value propositions, and support high-impact pursuits through clear, persuasive communication.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Deal & Growth Support

  • Support strategic pursuits by framing “big ideas” that resonate with executive buyers and sponsors.
  • Partner with sales leaders, enterprise architects, application specialists, and business development to structure and support complex, multi-stakeholder deals, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Help define deal constructs, value hypotheses, and outcome-oriented narratives aligned to customer priorities and business objectives.

Storyboarding & Narrative Development

  • Develop end-to-end storyboards for strategic initiatives, customer proposals, partner alignment, and executive presentations.
  • Translate technical architectures, operating models, and commercial frameworks into clear, executive-level narratives.
  • Create structured story flows that align problem statements, solution vision, business impact, and differentiation.

Executive & Customer Communications

  • Produce high-quality written and visual communications, including executive decks, strategic briefs, partner narratives, and customer-facing materials.
  • Ensure messaging is concise, outcome-focused, and tailored to different audiences (business, clinical, technical, operational).
  • Support executive-level meetings by preparing narratives, talking points, and supporting materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and solution teams to ensure narratives are accurate, differentiated, and aligned with roadmap direction.
  • Act as a connective layer simplifying technical narratives for clinical, research, and line of business audiences.
  • Capture and refine reusable story frameworks, messaging templates, and narrative patterns to improve speed and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, strategy, consulting, GTM, or related roles in enterprise technology, cloud, AI, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Proven experience supporting complex, multi-party deals or strategic initiatives through narrative, positioning, and executive communications.
  • Strong ability to synthesize clinical, research, technical, commercial, and operational concepts into clear, compelling stories.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing executive-level materials.
  • Comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Experience collaborating with senior sales leaders, product teams, and partners.

Preferred Attributes

  • Background in enterprise software, cloud platforms, data, AI, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with strategic partnerships, ecosystem-based selling, or large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Strong visual storytelling instincts (storyboarding, slide architecture, narrative flow).
  • Executive presence and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders.
