We’re hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) focused on root cause analysis (RCA) and systemic service improvement. Ideal for former software engineers or site reliability engineers (SREs) now leading technical programs, this role combines analytical rigor, technical depth, and cross-organizational influence.

You’ll join the Quality of Service (QoS) pillar—our center of gravity for reliability, availability, and observability. You’ll lead end-to-end RCA programs, partner with SRE and engineering teams, and turn recurring incidents into lasting service resilience.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and problem management initiatives for Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Partner with SRE, DevOps, and Product Engineering to identify and eliminate systemic issues.
  • Develop telemetry, monitoring, and observability improvements to accelerate fault detection.
  • Build dashboards, SQL/Python analytics, and KPIs to track reliability and prevention effectiveness.
  • Drive automation and CI/CD integration to reduce recovery time.
  • Communicate findings and priorities across executive and engineering stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager who has a proven track record in service excellence, site reliability engineering (SRE) and/or service monitoring, and who can partner effectively with Product, SRE, Customer Support and Software development orgs to drive impact. This role will be part of the Quality of Service (QoS, also known as Problem Management) Pillar for Service Excellence. You will help champion the QoS methodology for Oracle Analytics. This includes defining objectives, managing risks, defining/implementing improvements, and ultimately delivering lasting quality of service to our customers.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

What You’ll Bring
  • 6+ years in technical program management or cloud reliability roles.
  • Deep knowledge of RCA, incident management, and SRE practices.
  • Experience with PaaS/SaaS, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong data analytics skills (SQL, Python).
  • Prior software development or SRE background preferred.
