SUMMARY: The Physical Security Operations team serves as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, ensuring that physical security requirements and expectations are consistently met through high-quality, industry-standard programs and services. Oracle is seeking a security professional to join our team supporting both company-owned and third-party data center locations operated by co-location service providers.
The Regional Manager, Security Risk Assessments AMER, will act as the principal liaison with all internal—and, as needed, external—stakeholders across the AMER region in matters related to data center physical security risk assessments. This role is responsible for safeguarding employees, property, revenue, assets, and business resiliency by conducting comprehensive physical security risk assessments for data centers throughout the AMER region. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager Global Security Risk Assessments. The position requires regular travel within AMER and occasional global travel. This is an individual contributor (IC) role with no direct reports but will have oversight of contracted security staff across their portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Conduct physical security risk analyses and assessments to ensure data center locations meet established security standards, providing recommendations based on vulnerability and gap analysis.
• Perform risk assessments to ensure compliance with various audit requirements, including but not limited to SSAE 18, ISO, and PCI.
• Prepare and deliver both written and verbal briefings tailored to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure risk analyses and deliverables are aligned with prioritized company assets and risks.
• Coordinate, assign, and manage risk assessments conducted by contracted assessors throughout the AMER region to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
• Complete associated administrative tasks, including the tracking of metrics and KPIs.
• Assist in the development of operational strategies and work as part of a collaborative team to create processes and products that provide stakeholders with comprehensive insights and risk analysis to inform strategic decisions.
• Conduct analysis of business needs and identify required programs and services to meet those needs.
• Perform additional functions as necessary to achieve assigned business objectives.
• Regional and occasional global travel is required.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $70,600 to $141,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a minimum of 10 years security experience.
• A minimum 7 years in management and leadership experience, preferably within a physical security and or data center operational environment.
• Strong understanding of industry-specific legislations and compliance requirements as they apply to physical security operations, particularly for data center security.
• Extensive experience in either law enforcement, military, or other safety and security programs to support knowledge and competencies described above.
• A working knowledge of various security technology resources including access control and CCTV systems.
• Proficient with all basic Microsoft computer software programs (Excel, Word, Windows, Outlook) and communications techniques.
• Ability to communicate and articulate with a high level of proficiency in both written and verbal formats at all levels up to and including senior leadership.
• Adept at customer service skills; must be a team player comfortable with working with individuals from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences.
• BS/BA Degree desirable, but not mandatory.
• Industry certifications are preferred, but not required.
• Ability to show experience in above required essential functions is mandatory.
