This manager role within the Oracle Health Consulting organization will lead our team of consultants focused on our federal engagements, deploying Oracle’s Population Health solutions. Focused predominantly on our facility and solution deployment for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization effort to ensure consistent processes across projects, with high client satisfaction, and predictable and profitable project delivery. The team is responsible for understanding the client’s federal specific requirements, advising on Oracle Health standard (model) recommendations, creating a seamless end user experience. This role will allow you to lead cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to execute client and methodology vision, objectives, and strategy. In addition, identify and execute quality and process improvement initiatives; drive strategic initiatives to deliver consistent outcomes, business results, and associate feedback to encourage and promote associate success and growth.

As a Senior Manager you will:

  • Continuously advance and drive improvements related to efficiencies, methodology, scope, and solution capability
  • Develop senior-level consultants with deep solution knowledge and/or breadth across solutions
  • Establish on-going executive-level relationships with federal strategic clients
  • Mitigate all escalations for area of responsibility including resourcing, associate, client, and solution
  • Drive and track value or KPIs for area of responsibility
  • Responsible for business metrics and performance, billable utilization, allocations, hours burned across task orders, etc.
  • Lead, direct, and review the team’s work to achieve operational or functional targets or objectives with significant contribution towards the achievement of immediate and short-term results for the team, department, and organization
  • Establish and communicate team or department goals that support and advance team, department and organization objectives; establish metrics or other performance measures to track progress
  • Deliver consistent and timely training, guidance and feedback to encourage success and promote associate growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities
  • Own decision-making for staffing and performance decisions for direct reports
  • Lead level of effort analysis for future task orders, hiring efforts and oversee associate onboarding

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience relevant to this position including 3 years of consulting experience. Management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to travel as needed.
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position.
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 year people management, matrix management, project management or other indirect leadership work experience.
  • 3 years of work experience with Oracle Population Health applications.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare information technology project deployment, sales, or consulting work experience.

Expectations

  • Willing to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • US Citizen.
  • Achieve security clearance as needed for federal projects.
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $116,500 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
