Job Description

At Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), we are redefining enterprise software through agentic AI applications that enable professionals to reason, automate, and co-create with AI. The Agentic AI Applications team (including initiatives like the new Oracle Chat Experience) builds intelligent, multi-agent systems that connect large language models, enterprise data, and business workflows into cohesive experiences.

As a Principal Technical Program Manager (IC4), you will lead complex technical programs and drive enterprise-wide adoption of Oracle’s AI chat applications. You will work with internal partner teams across Oracle to onboard their knowledge bases, agents, and tools, ensuring seamless integration and interoperability across the broader ecosystem. You will coordinate across engineering, applied science, and product teams to bring new capabilities to life, translating technical complexity into clear plans, dependencies, and outcomes.

This is a technical role requiring depth in program execution, systems understanding, and stakeholder alignment. You will bring structure to ambiguity, identify and mitigate risks early, and build the bridges that accelerate both development velocity and enterprise adoption.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex, multi-team software programs in large-scale or cloud environments.
  • Deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals, distributed systems, and program lifecycle management.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional programs spanning engineering, product, and research teams.
  • Strong technical fluency; able to understand and contribute to discussions on architecture, APIs, and systems design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience driving adoption or integration of platform technologies across multiple internal or external partner teams.
  • Familiarity with LLM-powered systems, agentic frameworks, or AI orchestration pipelines.
  • Experience in enterprise software ecosystems—knowledge management, identity, analytics, or workflow systems.
  • Track record of improving program velocity and execution rigor through process and tooling improvements.
  • Understanding of agile and lean methodologies applied to large, distributed teams.

Why Join

  • Lead high-impact programs that define how enterprises interact with AI at scale.
  • Work across the intersection of AI, product, and engineering to make agentic systems usable in real-world enterprise contexts.
  • Partner with leaders across Oracle to onboard their systems into a unified AI ecosystem.
  • Shape the success of one of Oracle’s most strategic AI initiatives and drive adoption across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical programs spanning multiple teams across backend, orchestration, model integration, and user experience layers.
  • Drive enterprise-wide adoption of Oracle’s AI chat platform by partnering with internal teams to onboard knowledge bases, tools, and agents.
  • Define and manage cross-team dependencies, milestones, and deliverables for multi-phase AI product rollouts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product leadership to translate business and technical objectives into clear, actionable plans.
  • Facilitate architectural and design discussions to align on tradeoffs, scalability, and integration standards.
  • Develop communication frameworks for stakeholders and executives—status updates, risk tracking, and release readiness.
  • Build relationships across Oracle to drive adoption, encourage feedback loops, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Continuously refine execution processes, metrics, and governance to improve delivery quality and predictability.
