Job Description
Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for Data Center Operations and Technicians. Software includes interactions with databases, internal applications, tools, networks, storage, etc.
Responsibilities
We're seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Data Center Software Engineering team in developing Data Center Operations products leveraging cloud technologies, microservices architecture on Kubernetes, modern UI technologies and innovative Conversational and Generative AI capabilities. As a seasoned engineering leader, you will manage teams of over 10 engineers across the US, driving innovation, efficiency, and delivery excellence. Your hands-on engineering expertise, combined with strong management skills, will ensure the development of high-quality products that meet the highest engineering standards.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams of 10+ engineers across multiple US locations
- Develop and implement technical strategies for Data Center Software product development using cloud technologies and microservices architecture
- Drive engineering excellence, ensuring high-quality products that meet industry standards
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including product management, design, and business teams
- Prioritize and manage project workflows, ensuring timely delivery and meeting business objectives
- Mentor and develop team members, promoting growth and career development
- Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing across teams and locations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services
- Bring prior experience in managing large teams and developing software products in the data center domain (preferred)
- 10+ years of experience of growing and leading successful teams
- 10+ years of experience leading and successfully delivering large and complex technical projects from concept to production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field
Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $115,600 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
