Job Description

As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. As a Sr. Principal Analyst, you are expected to be performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and manage integration solutions on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC3).
  • Integrate a variety of applications, databases, and third-party services using OIC3 connectors, adapters, and APIs.
  • Architect scalable, secure, and highly available solutions leveraging OCI platform services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Identity & Access Management, etc.).
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on OIC3 tools, integration patterns, and cloud development best practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolutions for integrated systems.
  • Mentor and support junior integration developers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, process flows, and integration mappings.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud releases, features, and roadmap items.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of industry experience including Oracle Products.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), specifically version 3.
  • In-depth experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including deploying and managing cloud resources securely.
  • Expertise in building integrations using REST, SOAP, file-based, and event-driven paradigms.
  • Strong proficiency in XML, JSON, SQL, and scripting for APIs/mappings.
  • Sound understanding of OCI networking, IAM, Monitoring, and security/compliance practices.
  • Successful completion of at least two end-to-end OIC integrations in a production environment.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and automation for Oracle Cloud deployments is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Oracle certifications (OIC/OCI) are highly desirable.

Location: Remote role based in VA or surrounding states with 25% customer travel.

US: Hiring Range in USD from $38.03 to $76.06 per hour; from: $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
