Job Description
Major Duties:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver the items listed in the major duties section.
- Should be able to take high level architectures and convert into reality and detailed design.
- Should be able to demonstrate leadership skills. Guide the team via backlog grooming, sprint planning.
- General knowledge of the following categories of network systems: Multiprocessing, Threading, Distributed systems, Load Balancing and High Availability.
- Should be able to train and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
- At least 10 years’ experience in application development. Specific experience with scaling backend data systems and DNS service.
- Expertise in C, C++, GO, Java, Python (two or more preferred), Ansible, terraform etc.
- Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, DBaas, SQLLite, TimesTen
- Knowledge of Internet protocols and standards, including DNS, DNSSEC, REST, SSL and HTTP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum direction and work effectively across organizational boundaries and within groups.
- Should be a flexible, resourceful, team player that is able to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Creative thinking and critical analysis are essential.
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops and maintains infrastructure and backend applications
- Provides experience in web application technologies and middleware solutions
- Work collaboratively with product team to build, test, deploy and operate our systems
- Help automate and streamline our operations and processes
- Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations in all environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments
- Work closely with both internal and external software development resources as well as IT/network operations and the users of our solutions
- Review the current architectural landscape and make appropriate recommendations
- Develop test automation framework for end-to-end system verification and configuration management
- Develop performance and load benchmark tests and metrics
- Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations
- Manage CI and CD tools within team and collaborate within larger automation organization
Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
