Job Description
As a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager, Multicloud Capacity, you will own execution of our Multicloud capacity planning program, in partner with our database capacity planning team, to ensure customer demand is always met. You will work across product, engineering, supply chain, data center operations, and finance to deliver critical initiatives and play a central role in analyzing Multicloud capacity metrics and trends, forecasting resource needs, and building systems that enable automated, data-driven outcomes. This role requires strategic thinking, technical fluency, and the ability to translate high-level goals into execution plans across OCI teams. You will define and deliver scalable capacity planning processes and OKRs, automation tooling, and operational strategies that optimize for speed, reliability, and cost-efficiency at scale.
We are looking for a driven, highly organized individual who excels at driving large-scale, cross-organizational capacity programs and projects to play a critical role in scaling Multicloud capacity planning and delivery. The successful candidate works backward, starting with the customer and product, has a passion for solving difficult and often ambiguous problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, can lead a conversation in a room with designers, engineers, and product managers, and can influence partners to arrive at the accurate outcomes. You come to the role with a proven track record of improving systems and processes through automation, tooling, and scalable practices, a history of leading transformative change, driving stakeholder accountability, and are an exceptionally strong communicator.

- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and delivery across Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Database, and other key partners to the OCI Multicloud Capacity Planning team.
- Build and automate forecasting and allocation models that guide Multicloud investments and availability planning.
- Partner with product, engineering, finance, and operations teams to align capacity decisions with business priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-org planning teams and develop, improve, and automate Multicloud capacity planning processes, metrics, reporting and dashboards, and executive communication cadences. Develop and manage clear business success metrics.
- Identify supply chain risks and mitigation steps. Drive initiatives to design and implement capacity planning processes that drive improvements in supply chain performance.
- Drive complex projects while prioritizing deliverable execution, mitigating risks, managing escalations, and ensuring stakeholder requirements are satisfied. Drive execution for timely, on-scope delivery of user and developer facing features.
- Work with multi-functional teams to establish and maintain goals and roadmaps for improvement, setting appropriate expectations by managing competing priorities and influencing key partners.
- Identify core process gaps, improve them, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
- Provide ongoing written and verbal release status updates to senior leadership. Attention to detail is paramount.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or Information Technology, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
- 10+ years of experience leading complex technical programs in capacity planning and cloud infrastructure.
- Strong data-driven mindset; experience using Analytics, SQL, Excel and similar tools for analysis and forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to think broadly and strategically; then comfortable driving teams to deliver results, speaking up, and challenging the status quo when needed.
- Highly analytical and comfortable working with large amounts of data. Technically proficient and able to learn about new tools, software, and market opportunities quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively communicate findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-focused environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities.
- Deep understanding of cloud architectures, infrastructure provisioning, and distributed systems.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $109,200 to $223,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
