Are you interested in solving complex efficiency problems through data? Oracle (OCI) is seeking a data-fluent TPM to join our Cost of Cloud Team!

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced Cost of Cloud team. As a Technical Program Manager at Oracle OCI, you will play a crucial role in providing data-driven decision support and analysis for new organization-wide cost efficiency and savings programs.We are a team of technical program managers who drive a broad swath of cost efficiency programs, tools, and initiatives. We deliver large scale programs across all of OCI and Oracle to drive cost savings internally, that have potential to shape future customer deliverables as well. This is a position that offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of large portions of a portfolio of cost efficiency programs that will shape the future of OCI cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Own areas of the business delivering programs at scale to broad stakeholder organizations and executive-level leaders
  • Build systems and reporting that scales to large stakeholder audiences
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for several areas of the business.
  • Build and develop relationships across organizations and help to define new operational strategies, working with the leadership team on special projects.
  • Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  • Define quarterly and monthly strategic priorities and facilitate workflows by ensuring completeness and advancing them.
  • Drive efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the SVP and the leadership team.

Candidate Profile:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Technical experience in data analytics, pipelines, visualizations, and SQL.
  • BS or MS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to independently represent the division up to the SVP level.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify organization-wide issues and work with key stakeholders to drive them to resolution.
  • Experience with large-scale, globally diverse teams in a technical environment.
  • Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
  • Strong technical project reporting skills.
  • Experience managing technical projects in a highly ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrate business maturity, judgment, negotiation/influence skills, analytical skills, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think and act broadly and strategically.While not mandatory, a background in cloud technologies and FinOps are a plus, as it will help you understand the intricacies of OCI's products and services.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
