Oracle is a global technology leader, offering a comprehensive suite of cloud-based applications and infrastructure services. The OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Procurement Team is a vital part of the organization, responsible for enabling Oracle's cloud infrastructure growth and expansion.
Position Overview:
The OCI Procurement team is seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will focus on providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and external vendors as part of the procurement process for hardware and related services for our data centers. This role is crucial to support our expanding business, especially with the increasing demand for new data center sites, regions, and innovative projects. As we navigate through the current fiscal year, we aim to enhance our team to handle the growing volume and complexity of procurement operations.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
This Senior Business Analyst will assist in the procurement of hardware and related services for OCI data centers.
Activities include but may not be limited to:
- Obtain quotes for hardware
- Write business justifications
- Submit purchase requisitions and provide follow up
- Track hardware shipments and provide follow up
- Monitor and follow up on approvals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to facilitate effective communication
- Provide exceptional customer service while responding to status requests
- Identify and proactively address procurement-related challenges, offering innovative solutions to improve efficiency
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in a business analyst or procurement role, preferably within the technology or data center industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage complex tasks, prioritize, and solve problems creatively.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail and the capacity to manage numerous small details while maintaining the broader context.
- Technical Aptitude: Enthusiasm for learning about hardware and technology, enabling better decision-making and customer support.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and negotiation.
- Independence: A self-starter who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and deliver error-free results under tight deadlines.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from $29.42 to $60.63 per hour; from: $61,200 to $126,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
