As a Principal Technical Program Manager in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you will provide key programmatic organization and initiative tracking in the product development, delivery, and operation of cloud services that will enable animation, film, and game development studios to migrate their entire production pipeline to the cloud. Product areas will include virtual animation workstation service, digital asset management, high performance storage, render farm as a service, license management, and production pipeline management services. As we build a competitive product offering from the ground up and extend the reach of OCI to green field opportunities in the media and entertainment industries.

We are looking for a driven, highly organized Principle Technical Program Manager who excels at driving critical large-scale, cross-organizational programs and projects to play a critical role in driving product delivery across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will come with a history of leading large end-to-end projects, a well-rounded technical innovation background, experience driving stakeholder accountability, and be an exceptionally strong communicator.

Required Qualification

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related engineering field.
  2. 8+ years of experience in a technical program management role.
  3. Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  4. Previous experience or understanding of cloud technologies, engineering, software, and systems development lifecycles.
  5. Experience developing or managing engineering or product portfolio planning and tracking processes and cadences.
  6. Experience efficiently and effectively communicating findings/progress to cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and the broader organizations, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Comfortable driving teams to deliver results, speaking up, and challenging the status quo when needed.
  8. Self-driven problem solver; able to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and customer-focused environment.
  9. Highly analytical, technically proficient, and able to learn about new tools, software, and market opportunities quickly.

  1. Drive critical projects while prioritizing deliverable execution, mitigating risks, managing escalations, and ensuring stakeholder requirements are satisfied.
  2. Understand the breadth of our product offering and market needs, working with engineering teams to deliver projects, and represent Studio in the Cloud in executive-level meetings.
  3. Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  4. Identify core process gaps, improve them, and establish organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.
  5. Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain roadmaps, setting appropriate expectations while maintaining standards.
  6. Thrive and succeed in an innovative and fast-paced environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or conflicting priorities.
  7. Anticipate bottlenecks, provide critical issue management, and make trade-off recommendations, while balancing the business and customer needs versus technical constraints.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
