Senior Software Manager, Clinical AI Agent Platform – Oracle Health
Oracle Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Manager to lead development and innovation for the Clinical AI Agent Platform. In this key leadership role, you will oversee the technical strategy, architectural design, and operational execution of the AI platform that powers next-generation clinical agents—enabling scalable, secure, and compliant solutions that improve clinical workflows and patient care. You will work collaboratively with engineering, product, data science, and compliance teams to deliver robust platform capabilities supporting a growing ecosystem of AI-powered clinical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team building and enhancing the Clinical AI Agent Platform.
- Define and drive platform architecture and technical vision, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure foundations for diverse AI-driven clinical applications.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Solution Architects, Security, Compliance, and Clinical SMEs to gather requirements and translate them into actionable platform features.
- Ensure the platform meets all standards for data privacy, security, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and aligns with Oracle’s internal best practices.
- Oversee platform lifecycle management, including feature roadmap delivery, integration of new technologies, and operational reliability.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Set and monitor KPI metrics for platform performance, reliability, scalability, and user adoption.
- Actively engage with industry advancements to recommend the adoption of emerging AI and healthcare technologies as appropriate for the platform.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical or operational platform issues.
- Represent Oracle Health’s Clinical AI Agent Platform in cross-functional and leadership forums, providing technical thought leadership.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with at least 3 years in management or technical leadership roles.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise-scale platform solutions, ideally in healthcare or another highly regulated industry.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (Java, Python).
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle management, scalable/distributed systems, and cloud-based platform development.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (such as HL7, FHIR), privacy, and security regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
- Demonstrated success leading teams through the design, launch, and iterative improvement of complex platforms.
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with compliance and security best practices for cloud and AI platforms.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $107,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
