Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic Senior Director of Security Program Management to lead, coordinate, and drive execution across cross-functional, org-wide security and architectural initiatives. You will operate at the intersection of technology and business, influencing security direction, organizational priorities, and the overall security architecture vision for OCI.

- Security & Architectural Program Leadership
Develop, lead, and continuously improve large-scale, cross-cutting security and architectural programs that align with OCI’s overall strategy and vision. - Large Customer Onboarding
Partner with strategic customers to understand their security and compliance requirements, collaborating with internal teams to ensure secure, seamless onboarding and adoption for high-value workloads. - Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with engineering, product management, compliance, and executive leadership to align on security requirements, standards, and success metrics. - Organizational Influence
Drive adoption of security best practices, technical standards, and reusable patterns across OCI through scalable programs, training, and direct engagement. - Execution Excellence
Oversee program status, risk, dependencies, and resources to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of security initiatives. Escalate and resolve critical blockers to enable transformation at scale. - Executive Communication & Presence
Provide concise, high-impact updates to senior leaders on critical security and compliance programs. Represent the Chief Technical Architect in executive-level security discussions. - Communication
Build executive and organizational communication plans for security initiatives. Create clear documentation, dashboards, and updates for technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Talent Leadership
Hire, grow, and lead a high-performing Security Program Management team, developing future leaders and fostering a culture of security excellence and operational rigor. - Change Management
Lead change management activities for new security initiatives, building alignment and excitement across the global OCI organization.
- Experience
15+ years of industry experience, including 8+ years in program management or equivalent roles leading large-scale, cross-functional security initiatives in cloud or enterprise-scale platforms. Prior experience as a director or higher in a highly technical, security-oriented environment is required. - Technical Depth
Proven expertise in modern distributed systems, cloud security architectures, and enterprise-scale security practices. Ability to understand deep technical details in areas such as networking, compute, storage, encryption, compliance, and identity management. - Organizational Acumen
Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience driving influence without direct authority in large, matrixed organizations. - Execution Track Record
History of successfully delivering complex, multi-year security and compliance programs impacting large engineering organizations. - Executive Presence
Strong ability to present, engage, and provide critical updates to senior leaders regarding high-priority security initiatives. - Leadership
Experience building, managing, and mentoring security program management teams. - Communication
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated success in executive communication and organizational influence. - Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Cloud platform or hyperscaler experience (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with large-scale cloud security programs
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC, FedRAMP, etc.)
- MBA or other advanced degrees

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
