Job Description

OCI Hardware Development organization (OHD) needs an experienced Compliance Engineering Program Manager to support the rapid expansion of our Multi-Cloud
The candidate will have strong Program Management and analytical skills in addition to extensive knowledge of Regulatory Compliance requirements for Data Center ITE hardware products and technologies

Candidate will collaborate with multiple Oracle functions: Global Trade Compliance Market Access team, HW Product and Data Center Design, Compliance Engineering, Sourcing and third-party product (3PP) suppliers to ensure availability of regulatory compliance documentation (Safety, EMC and Energy Efficiency certifications and reports)

Required skills / knowledge:

  • Familiarity with global product compliance processes, including Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), electrical Safety standards, radio equipment approvals, and worldwide regulatory certification requirements
  • Proven capability to manage multiple complex homologation programs in parallel using database analytical tools, Microsoft Office suite, and program management tools such as Atlassian's Confluence and Jira

Preferred skills / knowledge:

  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet regional compliance and certification timelines for North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and other international markets
  • Understanding of Agency testing, documentation, and certification workflows (including Safety, EMC/EMI and Radio Equipment Directive) to support international product deployments

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Working with Global Trade Compliance Market Access experts, identify global Regulatory Compliance requirements for new Data Center ITE (HW products and technologies)
  • Analyze Data Center product Bills of Material (BOM) to identify products requiring regulatory certifications
  • Determine readiness and/or availability of certifications for target geographies (global Data Center locations)
    • Develop “Heat Maps” to track and report where there are gaps in compliance certifications/reports
    • Working with Oracle Sourcing team, Compliance Engineers and directly with third party product (3PP) suppliers, ensure HW products have all necessary hardware compliance certifications to support importation and/or develop plans and manage suppliers to address identified gaps
    • Obtain compliance (Safety, EMC/EMI etc.) certifications and reports
    • Upload certifications and reports to databases of record

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
