Job Description
Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure team is building new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best-in-class compute, storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of foundational cloud-based services.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex technology programs across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with exceptional program management skills, driving projects from concept to delivery while collaborating with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, or any relevant technical field
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or software engineering with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex technical projects.
- Strong technical background with experience in software development, system architecture, or infrastructure. Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineers.
- Expertise in project/program management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban, JIRA, MS Project).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define program scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans and schedules, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery of complex technical projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution across functions.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate program risks and dependencies. Proactively address challenges and roadblocks to minimize impact on timelines.
- Act as the primary point of contact for program status, providing regular updates to stakeholders and leadership. Facilitate meetings, reviews, and status reporting.
- Understand technical architecture and design decisions to effectively communicate with engineers and influence technical trade-offs.
- Coordinate resource allocation and capacity planning to meet program demands and priorities.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations are managed and objectives are met.
Qualifications

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $78,000 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
