We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our OCI Security team and play a pivotal role in securing cloud services. This role demands a proactive leader who can navigate the fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Expertise Required:

  • 7+ years of proven experience in leading and managing large-scale, complex technical programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • A minimum of 12 years of industry experience in program/project management, release management, or similar roles is essential.
  • We seek a seasoned Program Management Leader who can independently steer significant cross-functional initiatives, representing the organization's interests in executive-level discussions.
  • Analytical prowess and problem-solving skills are vital for identifying and mitigating risks and resolving complex issues.
  • Proficiency in SQL and a programming language is mandatory. You should be able to dive into technical details when required and contribute to hands-on problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in conveying technical information to diverse audiences is crucial. You should be comfortable communicating project status and updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are expected, enabling effective collaboration with business, development, and engineering professionals at various levels.
  • The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities and handle time-sensitive tasks.
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and security technologies is highly desirable, especially in a cloud service provider environment.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO) is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in defining the scope, creating comprehensive plans, and setting milestones for the development and implementation of a trusted cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive the enhancement and optimization of existing applications deployed on the OCI platform.
  • Be a self-starter, able to juggle multiple high priority programs and adjust quickly to align with changing business needs.
  • Ensure timely project delivery and provide regular updates to executive leadership, maintaining alignment with strategic goals.
  • Actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, developing mitigation strategies and ensuring a smooth path to successful project completion.
  • Facilitate technical discussions and collaborations across various teams, fostering consensus and alignment with leadership objectives.
  • Identify and implement industry-leading practices for cloud security and infrastructure management.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including Oracle teams, to ensure seamless integration and successful project execution.
  • Lead the charge in building a secure and robust cloud environment, protecting OCI services and customer data.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
